These communities form The North Oakland Household Hazardous Waste Consortium (NO HAZ). The NO HAZ Consortium's goal is to provide regular, reliable and easily accessible HHW collection services to its residents.

happens on the last Sunday in September. The race features a 13.1-mile course that winds through quaint neighborhoods, lush trails and downtown Rochester before finishing on the campus of Oakland University. A 5K-walk/run course is also available.
